Just below the image you’ll see a button that says “Download.” You will also see your screen’s resolution, which we have figured out for you. I don't know if the problem would be back on my system with Gods&Kings.Windows: First, choose your wallpaper. Which essentially means it's a whole different system. The problem went away for me, along with the crash issue I was also suffering from, but only due to some major upgrading. Personally I longer have the issue but apparently that is more blind luck than thx to the game developers. It may not be the most common monitor resolution but more and more have this - and if they are still using that "solution" on the 27" iMac's I would VERY upset if I was Apple. I'm sad and annoyed to see there are still issues like this. So 2560x1440 is a big no for me and sadly everything does look really big at the lower resolution on a 27" monitor.Īnnoyingly this was the game I was really looking forward to when I upgraded my PC. When that is done the game plays perfectly well and I can even run it under the Direct X 9 option if I wish. I did download the entire game again but the only thing which helps is to lower the resolution to 1920x1080. I might be tempted to erase the game and download it again from Steam. But the Direct X 9 option will be corrupted from the start with neither of those mods used. Next to try is a fresh game without those two. Info Addict and RED modpack used - both new installs of latest version. PC is Prime stable, memtest stable and loops IntelBurnTest fine.įWIW I do not know why but the Direct X 9 option (installed Direct X June 2010) will be corrupted from the start.Įrased the games cache and allowed it to rebuild its options within the "My Games" subfolder. When looping Heaven DX11 Benchmark 3.0 or Furmark all is well with no corruption at all. CPU temp on max is around 70c, 35c below TJ Max. The GPU temp gets to around 65c at the very max. Logging the system information and heat is not an issue. ![]() Changing those does not seem to make a difference. Eye candy settings on high except tessellation set to low. SSD for OS and separate one for the game.Īll drivers up to date no issues within device manager. This was happening with the G&K install so I decided that it was time for a fresh install of Win 7圆4.ģ570k ran at 4.4Ghz (tried at std no difference)Ĭorsair 8GB DDR 3 PC12800 RAM no overclock Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 870 2.93GHz (8 CPUs)Ĭhip type: ATI Radeon Graphics Processor (0x9460)ĭevice Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9460&SUBSYS_E118174B&REV_00Ĭurrent Mode: 2560 x 1440 (32 bit) (60Hz)ĭriver Date/Size: 02:42:48, 300544 bytesĭevice Identifier: : Format(In/Out)=(NV12,0x3231564e) Frames(Prev/Fwd/Back)=(0,0,0) Caps=VideoProcess_YUV2RGB VideoProcess_StretchX VideoProcess_StretchY DeinterlaceTech_BOBVerticalStretchĭDraw Test Result: All tests were successful.ĭ3D7 Test Result: All tests were successful.ĭ3D8 Test Result: All tests were successful.ĭ3D9 Test Result: All tests were successful. Language: Danish (Regional Setting: Danish) His machine is totally different though so it may not tell us much(Me: XP and ATI GPU, him Win7 and Nvidia).įor the sake of complete documentation I have added my DXDIAG info. I have a friend who runs the game in 2560x1600 DX11 mode and I'll have him test in DX9 asap. I got the effects with regards to slower loading and stuff mentioned in the workaround but unfortunately it did not fix the problem. I tried the possible fix except I'm in DX9 mode so I manipulated the DX9-settings file.Still worth a look and it did tell something more about the issue which should help finding a solution. Unfortunately it's not a very good solution for a 27" screen. ![]()
